Characteristics
Beech Core is extracted from the heartwood of the Beech trees, which are mostly elder than 80 years. This red heart has an irregular shape and is cloudy in its intensity of color and form so that the veneer image contains a character full of spirits. This character will spectacular underline the numerous clearly wood rays, the tangential as several millimetres high, reddish spindles (lines) and emerge radial as also high, laminar mirrors. Only a few selected trees are adapted for veneer production.
