Characteristics
The heartwood is dark brown, the wood without the heart is white-yellowish. The heart with cores presents a streaky or flamy veneer-image with both dark and white annual ring zones. The veneer, which is very decorative in its color and figured texture, is predominantly used in the interior fittings.
