Characteristics
The sapwood and the heartwood are sharply separated. The sapwood is broad and whitely, mostly with reddish shimmer. The heartwood is brown to reddish brown and nerved with darker veins, whereby it affects very decorative. The texture is very fine and constant, while the structure is irregular wavy and spirally grown.
